radial mounting principle

Serto's radial dis(mounting) fittings are unique! Which could save up to 40% of the time spend while assembling or maintenance. The hose or tube connections can be assembled radially without the tube or hose being modified or bent. The coupling is tightened by hand and the nut is tightened with a wrench which guarantees a leak proof connection without the need of teflon tape or o-rings.
This method provides ease of installation, time saving and above all, material savings.
Conical vs serto radial fittings
Below you find an example of the difference between conical fittings and serto radial mounting fittings. On the first images (conical) the tube must bend 180° to remove the assembly to one side, which means longer tubing, costs for bending and a reduced KV value. Using Serto fittings the tubing takes the shortest, most efficient route.

limited space applications
For applications with a limited space, for example coffee machines, medical equipment or laboratory equipment, the radial mounting ability is a great solution to save space and time during maintenance. Only the couplings need to be dismounted without bending or straining the tubing, and can be removed together with the tubing. After maintenance the couplings and tubing can be easily re-mounted into the applications without the risk of leakage.
Example radial mounting
Below you will see the radial mounting principle. The T-fitting is simple placed between the tubing.
